These Horner Electric products are classified as all in one Operator Control Stations. These models are labeled as a part of the HE 500 series. These HE 500 OCS units were developed and manufactured to complete the duties of three separate pieces of industrial equipment. An operator interface is built in to the frame of the unit, while the individual controller module is rendered obsolete and unneeded due to the OCS programming that allows it to run the controller functions.
The HE 500 series was built as a compatible piece of equipment for a variety of manufacturing equipment. It is able to run at a higher processing speed than other similarly designed models and brands, by utilizing the latest process controller hardware (at the time of its design and production).
The graphical display is implemented with an LCD display (liquid crystal display) that allows for the graphic setup to illuminate the model’s text setup, character by character, or, more intensely, can fully light up the display. This ensures that the model can be utilized and accessed by users regardless of the type or the intensity of the external light source for the work area.
The HE500TIU110 is a model designated to provide a full connection to the terminal interface unit CAN network, the CsCAN Profibus DeviceNet system. Integrated into the model are also a set of 2 serial ports, the first one of which is able to support communication to over 100 brands of PLC and drives. The second port is dedicated to configuring the programming of the HE500TIU110.
