The HE 500 line was a product initially developed and produced by the industrial automation company, Horner Electric. With their now outdated classification and quality, these models are all now out of production. The HE 500 models are still able to be completely repaired, recalibrated and refurbished to operate at peak capacity. These units are available from AX Control’s inventory of automation materials, and are covered by our protective warranty deal, which ranges from 1 to 3 years based on product type.
The HE 500 series of Operator Control Stations is a group of all in one bundle devices, with a built in Operator Interface (which eliminates the need of purchasing an individual operator module to attach to units). The Cscape and Cbreeze software packages enable the HE500TIU201 model to be able to control and monitor the several brands and models of programmable logic controllers and hard drives that are able to interface with it.
This unit also comes integrated with a set of Input and Output modules: a pair of serial ports, each of them dedicated for two separate functions. The first of these serial ports is designated as the communication connection for the numerous PLC units and hard drives. The second of them is dedicated as a programming port, able to transfer over support updates to configure the unit.
The backlighting implemented into the HE500TIU201 is aided by the thin film transistor and LCD display. The backlight has a setting that is specific to this and the other Terminal Interface Units, with a full screen illumination, as well as illuminating each individual character to save on the power intake.
