About the HE800MIX211
The HE800MIX211 is a SmartStack Analog I/O module that was developed and manufactured by Horner APG. The HE- prefix denotes that the module is made up of a plastic case.
Please note that when using a MIX211 module, a Higher Memory Controller is required. For example, you can use the following Horner APG Higher Memory Controllers in conjunction with a MIX211 module: OCS110, OCS210, OCS250 (and higher), and RCS250.
The HE800MIX211 module has a total of four input channels. The module’s input ranges, including over-range, are: 0 - 5.11 VDC, +/-0 - 5.11 VDC, 0 - 10.23 VDC, +/-10.23 VDC. The input channels have a 14-bit resolution and an input impedance of 1 Meg Ohm. In addition, the HE800MIX211 module’s input channels maximum error threshold at 25 degrees celsius is 0.1% and the threshold any additional errors for temperatures above or below 25 degrees celsius is 0.01%. The maximum over-voltage is 105 VDC max. and 450 VDC for 5 seconds, while the isolation voltage is 1000 VDC. The isolation voltage in this case is Channel to Channel and Channel to Ground. The input channels uses no external power supply and uses the V-F convertor type.
The HE800MIX211 module has a total of two input channels. The module’s output ranges, including over-range, are: 0 - 5.11 VDC, +/-0 - 5.11 VDC, 0 - 10.23 VDC, +/-10.23 VDC. The output channels have a 14-bit resolution and a load capacitance of 0.01 µF max. The output clamp is set to +/-11 VDC and the isolation voltage is 1000 VDC. Like the input channels’ isolation voltage, the isolation voltage in this case is Channel to Channel and Channel to Ground. The HE800MIX211 module’s output channels have a maximum error threshold at 25 degrees celsius is 0.1% and the threshold any additional errors for temperatures above or below 25 degrees celsius is 0.01% The output channels use no external power supply.
When installing, use proper safety precautions to avoid harm. According to the HE800MIX211 module’s manual, be sure to never make connections to live power lines and always make connections to the modul first and then to the circuit that will be monitored. Inspect all cables for damage in the insulation prior to each use and replace immediately if any defects are detected.
