About the HE693OIU360G-1
HE693OIU360G-1 is an Operator Interface Unit which is a part of the HE693OIU, created by Horner. This device is intended to facilitate interaction between the product user and the PLC system in question. The device comes included with the Operator Interface Unit (OIU) module and Genius Network Interface Board (GENI), the optional back panel shroud, the optional IBM/PC configuration kit, and a manual for the system. The OIM includes a 2 x 20-character dot-matrix vacuum-fluorescent screen for displaying critical information. The brightness of the screen can be controlled via the keypad. There are a total of 12 function keys on the front panel that can be programmed to perform specific operations. 12 LEDs are also available to display different conditions of references in the network.
The OIM is primarily based on a high-performance microprocessor. The device has 27C512 EPROM for containing firmware. The processing core is an Intel 80C152 with a clock cycle of 11.0582 MHz. The device also has 32Kb of static RAC as well as 32Kb of flash EPROM. The memory retention is estimated at 100 years. The device is designed to have a panel mounting layout within the NEMA 4-12 standards. The device requires 90-240 VAC at a frequency of 50-60 Hz. The maximum allowable current at this voltage range is 1 Amp. The OIM should be kept in a dry, clean environment. Operating temperature should be kept between 0 and 60°C. Humidity should be kept below 95% so as to prevent condensation from forming.
