About the CV-500
The CV-500 module is a camera controller module that was created and manufactured by KEYENCE. The CV-500 module is the first model in the CV-500 series of cameras and related products. The CV-500 camera controller module has been discontinued by KEYENCE, which means that they no longer support this module via repairs or other services and they also no longer offer it new in their stock. However, the CV-500 camera controller module may be in AX Control’s stock today. We may possibly have the CV-500 module in brand new condition from surplus stock or in refurbished, used condition. The CV-500 camera controller module is a white colored, rectangular module. In the top right corner of the top side of the module, there is a very small hatch that is labeled as “RS-232C/CONSOLE.” In the lower left corner of the top side of the CV-500 module is a label which reads the name of the module and a very small LED indicator light which is labeled as “POWER.” Below that, there is a series of fifteen labels, which are meant to indicate the functions of the I/O ports on the front side of the CV-500 camera controller module. These are labeled in order from the left side to the right side as follows: “24 VDC,” “0V,” “COM1,” “TRG,” “STO,” “COM1,” “WO1,” “WO2,” “WO3,” “WO4,” “WO5,” “WO6,” “WO7,” “WO8,” and “WOR.” Lastly, in the bottom right corner of the top side of the module is a label that reads “I/O,” and it is meant to indicate the small I/O port on the front side of the CV-500 camera controller.
