About the KL-N20C
The Keyence KL-N20C is a proximity sensor that is classified as a Master Unit or Master Station unit. This PLC can be connected directly to the master unit. This unit is C200h/HS, SysmACa, and CS1 compatible. This device is narrow and is constructed of white plastic. The face of the KL-N20C PLC has a small LCD window, as well as LED lights, numbered one through seven set up under the display window. There are seven LED lights to the left of the window and five white buttons towards the bottom. The face also includes a setup button.
There is also a small grey button to toggle up and a small grey button used to toggle down. At the very bottom of the KL-N20C there are ports with screws for the installation of three wires, labeled SA, the SB, and the SG.
The Keyence KL-N20C has a small raised plastic piece that allows the sensor to be installed with ease. With its slender design, it helps to optimize space as well as function. Its dimensions are 14x11x4 and weighs less than 0.1kg.
The Keyence has a max output of 310mA. On the bottom of this device, there is another power supply port that is silver in color and a small cut out to the right of it to help keep it in place. On the left side of the tower, the is a toggle switch to turn the tower on and off, without having to disconnect it from a power source.
