About the KV-16RW
The KV-16RW is a base model PLC offered by Keyence. The unit is designed with ten inputs and six relay outputs. The KV-16RW allows for easy debugging and programming with the use of Windows Ladder Simulator.
This unit is light and compact. Its design offers you the power you need with significant space savings as compared to comparbly powered modules. The KV-16RW has an RS232 cam port. It has an even parity bit and a baud rate of 9600.
The KV-16RW has a built-in 1ms timer and a 3000 step memory capacity. The unit also doesn't require a battery backup to store your data since programs are stored in the EEPROM, for easy access. This PLC is compatible with four expansion units for a customized system.
Keyence KV-16RW can pick up low-frequency pulses that are as short as 25us, no matter where the program is in during its cycle. The beauty of this is the ability to do real-time processing. Additionally, the KV-16RW has one analog timer to adjust the counter and timer values as it's running. This feature is beneficial during the start-up process.
Inputs and outputs are easily expanded with this PLC series. With an easy access serial communication port it is simple to add to your current system.
Keyence's KV-16RW is a small part made of black plastic with multiple LED lights on the front faceplate. It has several screw-in ports located in the top and bottom of the PLC.
