About the KV-16T

The KV-16T is a small PLC (programmable logic controller) offered by Keyence.

This PLC features screw inputs at the bottom of the unit. It is very small and compact for optimum space-saving performance. The right side of the PLC features an "IN" port.  This is positioned toward the top of the device.  The "out" port is positioned directly below it.

The KV-16T also features a series of numbers at the top of the unit ranging from C000-009. On the right-hand side of the device is a small flap that says "pull".  This reveals an Ethernet port that will allow the user to make easy connections.

Towards the bottom of the PLC, there are a series of numbered LED lights. The first row reads 0ch 0-9 and the second row l reads 5ch 0-5. Along the very bottom of the PLC is a white dot indicating the 24VDC and 0V. To the right of that are a series of numbers labeled in pink reading C500-501 C502 503 504-505.

The front faceplate also has an LED light for power and an operating light for if it's running or has an error. Venting at the base allows the device to get proper airflow.  This airflow allows the unit to stay cool and run efficiently. 

The back of the PLC has two metal eyelets, allowing for easy installation. You can add up to four (4) additional PLCs to customize your system. Please refer to original documentation from Keyence for additional information.  This includes manuals like "Super-small Programmable Logic Controllers: KV Series."  Such documentation will help answer any questions you may have regarding programming or the use of this unit.
