About the KV-8ERW
The KV-8ERW is an expansion unit by Keyence that has four (4) relay outputs and four (4) inputs. The KV-8ERW allows you to expand your number of I/O's in order to customize your input and output ratios to best fit your needs. The KV-8ERW by Keyence is a compact PLC that easily installs into your current system with a simple wiring harness. The KV-8ERW also features an "IN' and "OUT" port labeled in purple and pink respectively on the right-hand side. These features are available for easily expanding your I/O's as needed. The KV-8ERW has an easy to use serial communication function. The KV-8ERW has five (5) screw in ports at the top and bottom of the device. Each has a plastic cover for protection. The KV-8ERW allows for real-time processing by picking up pulse signals as short as twenty-five (25) us. The KV-8ERW also is capable of picking up high-frequency pulses with two (2) ten (10) kHz counters. The KV-8ERW requires a twenty-four (24) VDC power supply and has a current consumption of seven (7) mA. The KV-8ERW has an inductive load of two (2) A/output, a resistive load of four (4) A/output, and a four (4) A/common. The KV-8ERW has a short startup operation time often (10) ms or less. The KV-8ERW has a Baud rate of nineteen thousand two-hundred (19,200) bps, with a fixed data length of eight (8) bits. The KV-8ERW uses the RS-232C communication format. The KV-8ERW uses Windows Ladder Builder programming.
