About the KV-8EYT
The KV-8EYT is an expansion series offered by Keyence. This KV-8EYT has zero (0) inputs and eight (8) transistor (sink) style outputs. The KV-8EYT is suitable for counting high-frequency pulses with two (2) ten (10) kHz counters. The EEPROM eliminates the need for a backup battery while storing the programs for a minimum of ten (10) years. The Windows Ladder capability allows you to check your data memories, timers, and counters in multiple windows. This feature allows you to make adjustments in real-time without ever having to cut off power to the machine. Multiple files are allowed to be edited simultaneously, with the KV-8EYT Windows Ladder Builder software.
To run this unit your system requires a thirty (30) VDC transistor, with a peak load current of five (5) A and a relay capability of two-hundred and fifty (250) VAC. The KV8-EYT by Keyence is a twenty-four (24) VDC unit, with a seven (7) mA current consumption rate.
The Keyence K-8EYT is a small compact unit that allows you to increase your number of outputs. It is constructed of grey plastic with five (5) screw ports along the top and bottom. Each port is labeled with a purple number or letter and number. Along the top, the sequence is C1, zero through three (C1 0-3). Along the bottom, the sequence is C2 four through seven (C2 4-7). Each numbered port corresponds with an individual labeled LED light on the face of the device. For easy installation, the K-8EYT a grey and white wiring harness on the left and an "OUT" port on the right side of the device.
