About the KV-AD4
The KV-AD4 is a voltage analog I/O system by Keyence. The KV-AD4 has four (4) channels that can be used as inputs or outputs depending on your needs. The analog I/O range of the KV-AD4 is negative ten (-10) to positive ten (+10) V with an input impedance of one megohm (1M Ω ). The output impedance for the KV-AD4 is a minimum of 0.5 Ω . The resolution for the KV-AD4 is five (5) mV (1/4000). The KV-AD4 is designed with saving space in mind. This compact analog device features eleven (11) screw in ports along the top and bottom of the device. Each set of ports has a matching plastic cover to protect the wiring and ports from any dirt or debris. Along the top of the device near the screw, ports are corresponding letter and number combinations, written in purple. The first sequence is C zero through C three. (C0, C1, C2, C3). Directly below that is another sequence of numbers in letters V zero through V three (V0, V1, V2, V3), followed by three (3) white dots. Along the bottom directly above the screw, ports are a series of letter and number combinations written in purple. The first series is C four through C seven (C4, C5, C6, C7). The second line consists of the combination of I zero through I three (I0, I1, I2, I3) followed by three (3) white dots. The faceplate also has a small LED "POWER" light and an "ANALOG IN" port in the top right-hand corner. With a grey and white wiring harness on the left.
