About the LK-G15
LK-G15 is a wide beam compact/super precision sensor head that is manufactured by Keyence for the LK-G3000 series. There is no mounting mode. The reference distance for this sensor is 10mm, and the measuring range is ± 1 mm. The FDA laser class is a Class II, and the IEC laser class is a Class 1. The spot diameter at the reference distance is approximately 20 x 500 μm. The linearity is ± 0.03% of F.S., wherein F.S.= ± 1 mm. The laser lightsource is a red semiconductor laser with a wavelength of 655 nm (visible light). The light source output is 0.3 mW. The repeatability is 0.02 μm. The sampling time is selectable from these 6 levels: 20 μs, 50 μs, 100 μs, 200 μs, 500 μs, 1000 μs.
The LED display lights green near the center of the measurement, orange within the measurement area, and flashing orange outside the measurement area. The temperature characteristics are 0.01% of F.S./°C (F.S.= ± 1 mm). The enclosure is made out of aluminum die cast, weighs approximately 190 g, and is rated IP67. The ambient luminance is an incandescent or fluorescent lamp at a maximum of 10000 lux. The ambient temperature must remain between 0 and 50°C, and the relative humidity must remain between 35 and 85% non-condensation. The vibration resistance is 10 to 55 Hz, double amplitude 1.5 mm, and two hours in each direction of X, Y, and Z.
