About the LK-030
The LK-030 sensor head, which is a high precision sensor head, was created and mass-produced by KEYENCE as part of the LK series. The LK-030 sensor head has since been discontinued by KEYENCE, the original manufacturer. Despite this, the LK-030 sensor head may be in AX Control’s stock.

The LK-030 sensor head utilizes what KEYENCE classifies as a red semiconductor laser, which is a Class II laser that has a wavelength of 670 nm of visible light and an output maximum of 0.95 mW maximum. The reference distance of the LK-030 sensor head is 30 millimeters, while the LK-030’s measuring range is +/-5 millimeters. The repeatability of the LK-030 sensor head is 1 µm. Its linearity is +/-0.1% of F.S.
As for the analog output, the impedance is set at 100 ohms, the current output is between 4 and 20 mA (at 350 ohms maximum), and a voltage output that is rated at +/-5 V. The LK-030 sensor head’s sampling cycle is rated at 512 µs and its temperature characteristics are 0.01% of F.S./degrees Celsius.
The LK-030 sensor head also has other functions, such as gain switching, auto-zero, span, and shift adjustment, analog output holding whenever an alarm occurs, and response switching.
The LK-030 sensor head weighs a total of 0.57 lbs. or 0.26 kg.
