About the LK-080
The LK-080 model is a standard, small spot sensor head designed and manufactured by KEYENCE for the LK series. The LK-080 sensor head has been discontinued by KEYENCE. While they no longer supports this product or offers it brand new, AX Control may have the LK-080 sensor head in either refurbished condition or brand new from surplus stock. The LK-080 sensor head has a variety of features that make it an essential part of your facility. The sensor head’s referring distance is 80 millimeters and the measuring range is +/-15 millimeters. The LK-080 sensor head’s light source is a red semiconductor laser. This laser is a Class 2 laser product (JIS C6802). It has a wavelength of 670nm (visible light) and an output of 0.95 mW at maximum. The LK-080 sensor head’s spot diameter is approximately 70 µm at a standard distance, the linearity is +/-0.1% of F.S., and the repeatability is 3 µm.
The LK-080 sensor head’s analog input has a voltage output of +/-5 V (3 µm/mV), a current output of 4 to 20 mA (350 Ω maximum), and an impedance of 100 Ω.
In addition to a sensor head’s normal functions, the LK-080 sensor head has the following functions: Auto-zero, gain switching, span and shift adjustment, response switching, and analog output holding (whenever an alarm occurs).
The LK-080 sensor head is made of an aluminum die-cast material and weighs approximately 385 g, including the device’s cable.
