About the LK-2011
LK-2011 is an LK Series controller that is manufactured by Keyence. This controller is a high-precision model and the reference distance is 30 mm. The measuring range is plus or minus 5 mm. The light source is a visible red semiconductor laser with an output of 0.95 mW and a wavelength of 670 nm. The sampling cycle is 512 μs. This controller is associated with the LK-036 sensor head. The housing is made of polycarbonate and the weight, including the cable, is approximately 515 g. The current consumption is 400 mA (maximum). The enclosure is rated IP67.
There are a number of parts on the controller: the DIP switches, the sensor head connector, the sensitivity setting switch, the LED indicators (timing, stability, bright, dark, and laser on), the span adjustment key, the auto zero/reset key, and the shift adjustment key. Functions available on the controller are the LFTC circuit (automatically controls the laser emission time based on the target’s surface condition), the AUTO GAIN function (according to the received light quantity, this function automatically adjusts the amplification factor of the light-receiving signal), the response speed selection function (makes the average measurement time between 0.5 ms and 4 ms), the analog output hold function in alarm condition (holds the measured value of the analog output immediately before the alarm output is activated; measurement is continued when the alarm output is reset), the far/near output function (outputs a far or near signal when the distance between the sensor and the target is too long or too short), and the auto zero key (resets any output value to 0V).
