About the LK-2100
The LK-2100 unit is a standard controller amplifier unit. It was developed and manufactured by the KEYENCE Corporation for the LK Series of cameras and camera equipment.
The LK-2100 amplifier unit is a small, rectangular device. There are five LED indicator lights on the front that are lined up horizontally in the middle. The indicator lights are labeled in order as follows: “TIMING,” “STABILITY,” “BRIGHT,” “DARK,” and “LASER ON.” In the bottom right corner of the LK-2100 unit, there is a small slot for a key that is labeled as “LASER.” The can be turned to two positions: “ON” or “OFF.”
The reference distance of the LK-2100 unit is 80 millimeters and the measuring range is +/-15 millimeters. The light source for the LK-2100 unit is a red semiconductor laser that has an output of 0.95 mW and a wavelength of 655nm. The linearity of the LK-2100 unit is +/-0.1% of F.S. The LK-2100 unit has an impedance rating of 100 ohms and a current output of 4 to 20 mA with a 350 ohm maximum. The ambient light is produced by either an incandescent or fluorescent lamp, both of which will have a maximum lux of 10,000. The ambient temperature (no condensation) of the LK-2100 unit is 32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit and the relative humidity (no condensation) is rated at 35 to 85% RH.
In addition to the normal functions, the LK-2100 unit also has the following additional functions: Auto zero, analog output holding whenever an alarm sounds, gain-switching, response-switching, and shift and span adjustment.
The LK-2100 module is approximately 1.14 lbs. or 0.515 kg and is made of a polycarbonate material.
