About the LK-3101
LK-3101 is a compact, high accuracy controller that is manufactured for the LK Series by Keyence. The measurement mode is normal except for mirror surfaces. The reference distance is 10 mm and 7 mm on mirror surfaces. The measuring range is accurate within plus or minus 1 mm or plus or minus 0.9 mm on mirror surfaces. The associated sensor head, which has a visible red semiconductor Class II/2 laser, is LK-011. The light source has an output of 0.95 mW and a wavelength of 670 nm. The weight of the controller with the cable is 515 g. Polycarbonate is what the controller is composed of. The ambient temperature should be 0 to 50°C for the controller.
Functions available on the controller include Auto Zero, Response Selection, Shift/Span adjustment, and Holding Output in Alarm Condition. The power supply is 24 VDC ± 10%, and the ripply is 10% (P-P) or less). 100Ω is the analog output impedance. 4 to 20 mA is the current output. The enclosure rating is IP64. The temperature fluctuation for the controller is 0.005% of F.S./°C. The voltage output for normal measurements is ± 10 V, and the voltage output for measurements on a mirrored surface is ± 9. The repeatability is 0.1 μm. (Repeatability was obtained using Keyence’s analog sensor controller (RD-50) with the number of averaging measurements set to 64. The sampling cycle for the controller/sensor pairing is 128 or 256 or 512 or 2,048 μs (selectable).
