About the LK-503
LK-503 is a sensor head that is associated with the LK Series LK-2503 controller that is manufactured by Keyance. There are two versions of this sensor head. One version is High-Precision mode and one version is Long-Range mode. The High-Precision mode sensor head has a reference distance of 350 mm and a measuring range of ± 100 mm. The Long-Range mode sensor head has a reference distance of 500 mm and a measuring range of ± 250 mm. The light source is a visible red semiconductor laser with an output of 0.95 mW and a wavelength is 690 nm. The laser is a Class II (FDA) and Class 2 (IEC) laser product. The spot diameter for the High-Precision mode sensor head is approximately 0.7 mm, the repeatability is 10 μm, and the analogue voltage output is ± 10 V. The spot diameter for the Long-Range mode sensor head is approximately 0.3 mm, the repeatability is 50 μm, and the analogue voltage output is ± 5 V. The linearity is ± 0.1% of F.S. The analogue output impedance is 100 Ω and the analogue output current output is 4 to 20 mA with an applicable load of 350 Ω (maximum). The enclosure rating for the associated controller is IP67. Ambient light in the area where this sensor head is operated must be incandescent or fluorescent lamp (10000 lux max). The sensor head housing is aluminium die-cast, and the weight is approximately 700 grams. The alarm output NPN is 100 mA maximum.
