About the KV-40DTP
The KV-40DTP is a 24 input and 16 transistors (source) output, DC type base unit. The input voltage supply is a 24 VDC (+10% -20%). The current consumption is 130 mA or less with the ability to become part of an expansion unit. The KV-40DTP should not be exposed to freezing temperatures and kept between 32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit while in use. The KV-40DTP should be stored at -4 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit while not in use. The KV-40DTP can withstand a 1,500 VAC for up to one minute. The KV-40DTP conforms to EN standards of noise resistance (1,500 Vp-p or more with a pulse width of 1 µs, 50 ns (by way of a noise simulator). The KV-40DTP has a shock resistance of 150 m/s2 (15G) operating time: 11ms, 2 times in each of 3 axial directions. The KV-40DTP has a 50 MΩ or more when tested with a 500 VDC megger the power terminals and input terminals and between the case and the external terminals. The ideal operating atmosphere requires minimal dust and a corrosive gas present. The intermittent vibration frequency of 10 to 57 Hz with an amplitude of 0.075mm*. When the frequency is between 57 to 150 Hz acceleration 9.8 m/s*. When the KV-40DTP is at a continuous vibration frequency of 10 to 57 Hz the amplitude of 0.035mm*. When the frequency is between 57 to 150 Hz the acceleration is 4.9 m/s*.
* Conforms to JIS B 3502, IEC61131-2
Number of sweeps: 10 times respectively in the X, Y, and Z directions, 80 minutes
