About the KV-E8R
KV-E8R is an eight (8) relay output device made by Keyence. The Keyence's KV-8R has a rated load voltage of two hundred and fifty (250) VAC/ thirty (30) VDC, two (2)A (inductive load) and four (4) A (resistive load). There is no measurable current leakage while turned OFF. There is also no measurable residual voltage while turned ON. The startup operation of the KV-E8R from OFF to ON or ON to OFF is ten (10)ms or less. The ON resistance of the KV-E8R is fifty (50) mΩ or less. The electrical relay lifespan of the KV-E8R is one-hundred thousand (100,000) times or more, (twenty (20) times per minute). The mechanical relay lifespan of the KV-E8R is twenty million (20,000,000) times or more. The Keyence KV-E8R weighs approximately one-hundred and thirty (130) grams. The Keyence KV-E8R is constructed of grey plastic. The KV-E8R has seven (7) screw ports along the top and bottom of the device. The top of the device is labeled C1 zero through three (0-3) and V1, V2 with an OUT port along the top right of the device. Along the bottom of the device also has seven (7) screw ports labeled C2 four through seven (4-7) V3, V4 and an OUT port along the bottom right of the device. The Keyence KV-E8R also has two (2) white buttons on the left-hand side of the device labeled CH. Under the buttons is a black and white wiring harness to allow easy connection to other devices.
