Created and developed by the Parker Eurotherm SSD Link and Drives, and then originally, shipped from their headquarters in Virginia when this series was in production, the L5201-2-02 processor module designed for the Input and Output modules to be attached to a drive. Of course, these units are analog modules, not digital. The designation ID number is L5201-2-02, with a manual ID number of HA350679.
The standard dimensions of this unit are in line with the others in the series of Parker Eurotherm SSD processors: 579.12 millimeters by 243.84 mm by 234.84 mm, and weighing up to 6 pounds, or 2.72 kilograms. The standard operation voltage needed to use the L5201 module is a minimum of 20 volts of direct current, and can handle up to a maximum of 26 DCV.
This module is an analog input/output module that can be programmed to to complete functions such as taper and tension calculation, measuring diameter, and winder control. It is equipped with a total of six I/O analog points (five analog input points and one analog output points). All of these I/O entry points are compatible with voltages between 0 and 10 volts.
