About the L5301
L5301
The L5301 LinkStation is an Input and Output processor that was developed by Parker Eurotherm SSD Drives, built for high-speed data transfer and managing industrial process functions. When compared to its counterpart, the L5300, this model looks outwardly identical. However, on a functional, internal level the L5301 is designed to be a remotely mounted input and output rack in a distributed LINK control system.
Both the L5300 and L5301 utilize a Windows software package DSD (Drive System Designer) and compatible LinkCards. The L5301 has rather more limited memory and processor capabilities when compared to the L5300. The L5301’s primary use is to function remotely as both a digital and analog input and output method for the LINK system.
The L5300 and the L5301 accept a voltage intake between a range of 85 and then up to 265 volts of alternating current, and require an additional power supply of 50 to 60 hertz. These processor modules are developed to integrate a standard three-wire AC connection (the three wires are Line, Neutral, and Ground plugs). The terminal block is able to accept wire sizes in the range of 14 to 18 Standard AWG (American wire gauge) size.
