About the L5352
L5352
The L5352 model from Parker Eurotherm Solid State Drives (a subsidiary from the Parker Hannifin Corporation), is an EtherNet LINK Card, meant to interface with the open protocol network that is able to connect to it by an EtherNet device. This card is able to bridge the gap between a LINK control system and an EtherNet device when the card is plugged into either a LINK Station or a LINK Rack. This model is a part of the LINK 2 group, and in order to be successfully operated, the L5352 absolutely must be controlled by an EtherNet master server, such as something like a scanner in a programmable logic controller (PLC) or a PC with supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) software system architecture. The terminal it is outfitted with takes the form of an RJ 45 connector.
The L5352 LINK Card model comes with a pair of LED lights to indicate the statuses of both the device’s general physical status, and the bi-colored (green and red) network communications status.
The physical dimensions of the L5352 give the device a compact frame, with a height of 120 millimeters, a width of 32 mm, and a 90 mm depth. It is a lightweight piece of technology, only 0.35 pounds.
