About the L5353
L5353
PROFIbus is an open protocol network that is able to provide an easily manageable, efficient, direct connection, when used in conjunction with the compatible components. This is where the L5353 PROFIbus LINK Card comes in.
The L5353 is one of the models designated as a part of of the LINK 2 family of products, and is able to develop a pathway between a LINK control system, and the PROFIbus software, when it has been installed onto a LINK Station, or onto an equally compatible LINK Rack. Because of the current specifications, the L5353 model is only able to be operated and controlled by a PROFIbus master client module, such as, for example, a scanner integrated into a programmable logic controller. The terminals onboard the L5353 model LINK Card are only available in the form of a pluggable screw connector.
The L5353 LINK Card is a function block which can be used within a LINK Rack model L5300 or LINK Station model L5392 configuration. It is accessible using the Windows based graphic configuration tool set, DSD, by opening either the L5300 or L5392 file.
A pair of LED lights are included onto the L5353 model, used to indicate the module’s status, and the module’s ability to connect and communicate with the network.
The standard operational temperature for the L5353 LINK Card ranges between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius. The dimensions of this model is 120 mm by 32 mm by 90 mm, and weighs .16 kilograms/.35 pounds.
