About the APL3700-KA-CD2G
The APL3700-KA-CD2G is a 15-inch touch-panel PC with keypad and mouse manufactured by Pro-face Xycom. The APL3700-KA-CD2G is designed with an Intel DuoCore 2.0GHz CPU supported by the Windows XP Pro operating system. This PC system allows third-party applications such as SPC, vision, SCADA, and MRP to run simultaneously. It gives the option of using the PC as an on-demand touch-screen HMI and expands PC hardware and data connectivity options. The unit has two PCI ports.
The APL3700-KA-CD26 is designed with a number of ports, including a rear RAS (remote health monitor) connector with 9 pin socket, five USBs (4 rear and 1 front,) 2 LAN ports capable of 10Base-t/100Base-tx connections. One LAN port is capable of 1000BaseT connections. The APL3700-KA-CD26 also has 4 Serial COM ports and a 3.5 mm mini pin sound jack.
The APL3700-KA-CD2G is rated for an input voltage of AC 100/240V. Power consumption is 145VA or less. Allowable voltage drop for this unit is 1 cycle or less (voltage drop interval must be 1 second or more.) Voltage endurance is AC1500V 20mA for 1 minute, between charging and FG terminals, and insulation resistance is DC500V, 10MΩ per minute between charging and FG terminals.
It is important to note before installation the APL3700-KA-CD2G unit's rear panel is not approved as an enclosure. If the user chooses to build the unit into an end-use product make sure to use a proper enclosure that satisfies standards. Install and operate the APL3700-KA-CD2G indoors only, with its front panel facing outward. Make sure to create space around the rear face of the APL3700-KA-CD2G during installation to allow for proper cooling.
