About the APL3700-TD-CM18
The APL3700-TD-CM18 is an industrial PC from Pro-face designed with a 15-inch touch-panel. The APL3700-TD-CM18 can be used as an on-demand touchscreen HMI or it can be used as a PC. This gives the user more hardware and data options. It is designed around an Intel Celeron M 1.8GHz CPU with Windows XP Pro installed, with standard memory of 1GB (expandable to up to 4GB.)
The APL3700-TA-CM18 has increased reliability and faster data access due to its solid-state drive (SSD.) It was also created with a software mirror function. This function writes data to 2 HDDs (a primary and a perfect backup) with a zero load to the CPU. The APL3700-TA-CM18 also has a HDD hotswap feature. If necessary, the user may exchange an HDD even if the power is running and the unit is on.
It is important for the user to note using the Hard Disk in an environment that is excessively hot and/or humid will shorten the disk's usage lifetime. A wet bulb temperature of 29 degrees Celsius or less is recommended. During installation, the APL3700-TA-CM18 should be placed at least 50mm away from structures and equipment. Surrounding air temperature (both panel temperature and the temperature within any enclosure) should remain within suggested standards.
The APL3700-TD-CM18 is designed to run on a DC24Volt input. Power consumption is listed as 145W or less. Certifications include CSA-C22.2 No. 142-M1987; UL 508; UL 1604, Class I, Div 2, Groups A, B, C, D. Vibration Resistance IEC61131-2 compliant.
