The PFXGE4401WAD is a widescreen HMI from the Pro-face GC4000 series. It may also be found under the name "GC-4401W." This model is unique in its 7" WVGA TFT color display. The application memory of this model is 8 MB of flash EPROM, while the backup memory is 128 KB. This unit runs on 24 V of DC power.

Display Information

The display of the PFXGE4401WAD is remarkable in its 800 by 480 pixels WVGA resolution, LED backlight, and ability to display up to 65,536 colors. This resolution makes the display clearly readable and viewable from wider angles. The LED backlight is not only good for illuminating the viewing area at 8 variable brightness levels, but it is also energy efficient and reliable. The backlight is estimated to last around 20,000 hours or more when continuously run at 25°C until the brightness level decreases to 50% of the original value or the screen begins to flicker. The TFT-type LCD is not only a better quality image over other types of LCDs like STNs, but it also helps allow this model to display the large number of colors that it can. This adds yet another layer of customization and convenience to this model.
