The GLC2500-TC41-24V is designed to function as a Human Machine Interface with extended capabilities. It is part of Proface s GLC 2000 series of operator interfaces that has the integrated capabilities of both a PLC and an HMI as a single machine solution. The unit is capable of machine monitoring, audio output, report generation, and bar code reader support, and also features a bright touch screen display for on-the-spot reading of data. The GLC2500-TC41-24V is built with a 10.4-inch touch panel on the unit. It has a 640 x 480 resolution on the TFT color LCD screen. This screen can display up to 256 colors, using software color switching. The display is backlit using a CCFL with a service life of 50,000 hours. This CCFL is user-replaceable. The display can be adjusted for brightness control through the touch panel to one of four levels. The GLC2500-TC41-24V uses a 24 VDC power supply and has a rated voltage range of 19.2 to 28.8 VDC. It has 4 MB of Flash EPROM application memory with an additional 256 Kb of SRAM data backup.
