About the GP2300-TC41-24V

Interface Overview

Pro-face/Xycom's GP2300-TC41-24V is an HMI with a 5.7 inch display. This display is a TFT type color LCD touch screen with the capacity to display 256 colors with no blink or 64 colors per 3-speed blink, which can be switched by using the software. The resolution of this display is 320 by 240 pixels. The display is illuminated by the CCFL backlight. There are four brightness adjustment levels available on the touch panel. The touch panel has a resolution of 6 by 12 keys per screen with 1 or 2 point touch.

Compatibility

The GP2300-TC41-24V has two serial interfaces. The primary serial interface uses an RS-232C/422 asynchronous transmission method. The expansion serial interface uses an asynchronous RS-232C method. The GP2300-TC41-24V has an IEEE802.3, 10BASE-T network interface in addition to a CF card slot. The GP2300-TC41-24V is also compatible with several different styles of printers such as the LaserJet PCL 4 command, NEC PC-PR201/PL, HP EPSON PM/Stylus (6-color ink), EPSON ESC/P24-J84(C), and the EPSON Stylus (4-color ink).

The GP2300-TC41-24V is a reliable, budget HMI that is not as barebones as models like the 01 models from this same series. It has several interface options that many operators might need for their HMIs that are not often found in stripped down, ultra-budget models. An example of this is the network interface that can be found in the GP2300-TC41-24V but not the 01 model. This unit also has twice as much memory capacity as the 01 model.
