Overview
The GP2500-LG41-24V is a programmable operator interface from Pro-face, now owned by Schneider Electric. This unit is part of the GP 2000 series and is designed for use within challenging industrial settings where off-the-shelf components may not withstand the rigors of use in harsh conditions.
The GP2500-LG41-24V has a black and white display with a resolution of 640 by 480 pixels. It can display up to 75 rows of text. Fonts can be expanded by their height and width up to eight times. The display is backlit by a CCFL with four levels of brightness control and eight levels of contrast adjustment. These features can be used via the model's touch panel. The CCFL should last approximately 50,000 hours, assuming 24 hour operation at normal conditions.

The front display includes an LED indicator light. The GP2500-LG41-24V is built with 4 MB of application memory backed by 256 KB of SRAM. It has several available interfaces including two serial ports, an Ethernet 10BaseT interface, a tool connector, a CF Card interface, as well as sound outputs and auxiliary I/Os. It also has a printer interface compatible with models like the NECPC-PR201/PL , EPSON ESC/P24-J84(C), and HP Laser Jet PCL 4 printers. The unit’s internal clock has an accuracy of +/- 65 seconds/month at normal temperatures and operating conditions.
