Pro-Face is the producer of the GP270-SC21-24VP (CE marked unit) touch screen panel. This panel is an STN color LCD that supports the following colors white, magenta, blue, cyan, red, yellow, green, and black (a total of eight [8] colors). The tiling patterns in this panel make the blends of these colors possible. There are eight (8) levels of contrast adjustments available for the screen. The character size on the screen (both height and width) can be expanded by 2, 4, or 8, which does change the character display. If the display is 8x8 dot font it will show 40 char. Per row, 30 rows. If the display is 8x16 dot font it will show 40 char. Per row, 15 rows. If the display is 16x16 dot font it will show 20 characters. Per row, 15 rows. The GP270-SC21-24VP s touch panel also has 16x12 keys/screen with one or two-point touch. 

Do not use the GP270-SC21-24VP in an environment that exceeds fifty degrees Celsius. This will cause the unit to malfunction and start to break down. When installing this unit make sure that it is located as far as possible from electromagnetic circuits, non-fuse type breakers, and any other equipment that can cause arching. Complete regular checks of your system to make sure that it works properly. Check the cables that they are attached properly, make sure that the temperature is in the allowable range, that the humidity is in the proper range, and that the atmosphere is free of corrosive gasses.
