About the GP-4402WW
The GP-4402WW is a 7-inch standard widescreen HMI with USB Storage and an FTP server. It supports MAC Address Display. Like other GP-4000 series HMIs, this unit has a TFT color LCD display with 65,536 no-blink colors (16,384 blink). The unit offers a resistive analog touch screen that is backlit with a white LED. Our team also lists this as the Proface PFXGP4402WADW.
The GP-4402WW supports a number of different drivers from various manufacturers that will allow you to connect this HMI in a variety of ways, including MODBUS TCP, CANopen Slave, CTC Binary protocol, PMAC, Series 90 Ethernet, and Inverter MODBUS RTU. For an entire list of connection drivers, refer to the unit’s reference and device manual.
The GP-4402WW is not equipped with backup memory or SRAM. However, part of the unit’s internal memory acts as a backup area. This is preserved even when the unit is turned off. Virtual backup memory will save data like alarm history and filing data.
The GP-4402WW does not support 2-point touch. If you touch the panel simultaneously at two locations, the unit will calculate the touch coordinate at the center of those two points.
Additional information about this human-machine interface can be found through original Pro Face Xycom documents like manuals and user guides. Schneider Electric, which acquired Pro Face in the 2010s, may also have some documentation for these units.
