About the GP-4603T

The GP-4603T is a Proface TFT color LCD human-machine interface panel. This unit is a 12.1-inch panel with an 800 x 600 pixel SVGA resolution. AX Control maintains on-hand stock of many different Proface GP4000 HMIs, so please feel free to check with us if you have any questions about this or another GP4000 product.

The GP-4603T offers a backlit color display with 16 levels of brightness control. The unit offers multiple standard language fonts including English and Japanese. Other fonts like Chinese and Korean are downloadable. Fonts can be expanded up to eight times.

The power connector for the GP-4603T is located on the left-back rear of the panel. The GP-4603T uses a DC 24 V power supply. To the right of this, the unit has an opening for the SD Card and battery access. This model has a user-replaceable battery. The HMI uses a secure digital memory card. Nearby, is the USB-A port for barcode readers, memory sticks, and for programming with a cable. Below and to the right is the USB mini-B port. The mini port is used for program transfer via a personal computer. The unit also has an RS-232C and RS-485 port as well as an Ethernet LAN port. Make sure to use the correct cables with these ports. The Ethernet port on the GP-4603T is a 10baseT/100BaseT port that can be used for program transfer or for ethernet device connectivity.

The GP-4603T is built with a rear gasket that fits into a groove on the bezel. If the gasket slips from this groove during installation the unit will not maintain the rated NEMA 4x rating. Make sure that the gasket remains in place during installation--AX Control Tech Team
