About the PFXGP4303TAD
The PFXGP4303TAD is a Pro-face HMI that features a 5.7” touchscreen display and a TFT LCD with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels (QVGA). The installation process is quite simple when replacing the PFXGP4303TAD and only requires the user to reconnect the input voltage, the communication ports, and load the application specific program to the HMI. Once the program has been loaded onto the HMI it will be retained by an on-board lithium battery even when input power is removed from the unit. If this battery needs to be replaced, the user will have to access the motherboard, replace the battery, and load the program once more.
The Pro-face PFXGP4303TAD contains 65,536 colors (no blink) and 16,384 colors (blink) on the display as well as a white LED backlight. Additionally, the display features brightness control with 16 levels that can be adjusted with either the touch panel or the software. Other notable specifications include an application memory with FLASH EPROM 16 MB (including a logic program area) and a logic program area with FLASH EPROM 132 KB. The font area is FLASH EPROM 8 MB while the data backup is SRAM 320 KB. The variable area is SRAM 64 KB (replaceable lithium battery for backup memory).
The clock is accurate plus or minus 65 seconds per month with changes in room temperature and when the power is off. The touch panel type is analog resistive film, and the touch panel resolution is 1,024 x 1,024. The touch panel service life is 1,000,000 times or more. The in-rush current is 30A or less. The power consumption is 10.5W or less. The allowable voltage drop is 5 ms or less. The input voltage limits is 19.2 to 28.8 VDC. The rated input voltage is 24 VDC. This panel complies with all international safety standards. The cooling method for this panel is natural air circulation. The panel weighs approximately 0.8 kg or less.
The PFXGP4303TAD does not have quite as large an installed base as some of the other GP4000 series HMI models but AX Control still tries to keep stock available on the shelf for customers with line down situations that would prefer an identical replacement to the HMI that failed in their facility.
