About the PFXGP4501TAD

PFXGP4501TAD is a display panel interface that is manufactured by Proface. Do not store the GP panel in direct sunlight, dusty environments, or dirty environments. Do not expose the GP panel to chemicals, acids, paint thinner, organic solvents, powerful shocks, or excessive vibration. Regularly backup all screen data. After turning the unit off, wait a few seconds before turning the unit on again, or the unit may start incorrectly. An afterimage may occur if a single image is displayed for long periods of time. It is normal for shadows to appear at the top of the LCD, and it is normal for the display colors to appear as if they have changed.

Parts of the GP panel are the display panel, the touch panel, the power lamp (green LED), the power input terminal block, the auxiliary input/output (AUX), the serial interface, the printer interface, and the tool connector. The touch panel is overlaid on top of the display panel. The power LED is on when the power cord is connected. The power input terminal block includes the input and ground terminals for the AC power cable. The auxiliary input/output (AUX) operates the touch switch, the system alarm, the buzzer, the RUN output signals, and the remote reset input signals. The serial interface is used for the RS-232C and RS-422 (serial) interfaces, which are connected to the Host (PLC). The printer interface is where the printer is connected. The tool connector is where the data transfer cable, the memory loader, or the bar code reader can be connected.
