General

GP470-EG31-24V is a cUL marked unit produced by Pro-Face. This HMI is an amber monochrome touch panel with a high-intensity EL Display. The resolution of this model is 640 x 400 pixels, with a display area of 192 mm wide by 120 mm high. In additional to ASCII, this panel supports a variety of languages including Japanese, Taiwanese, Korean, and Chinese. Blink or reverse video is possible, with two levels of brightness control standard. The touch panel offers 32x20 keys per screen with one or two-point touch.

Connectivity Features

The GP470-EG31-24V uses RS 232C or RS 422 series interface cables. The panel also has the following connector options: a power input terminal that is the input and ground for the AC power cable, auxiliary (AUX) input and output, which operates the system alarm, a touch switch, RUN output signals, buzzer, and the remote reset input signals. The unit has a tool connector that can be used for a barcode reader, a memory loader, or a data transfer cable. Additionally, it has a hook-up for a printer.

Operational Conditions

The input voltage of the GP470-EG31-24V is DC 24 plus or minus 20%, with a power consumption of under 50W (TYP 20W). This unit has a voltage endurance of AC 1000V (10mA for one minute) between the grounding terminal and the live wire. The isolation resistance is DC 500V (above 10 M Ohm) between the grounding terminals and the live wire.
