This model of the Legacy Display series is one of the many units designed and produced by the Pro-face corporation of digital electronics and manufactured and sold by their subsidiary, Xycom. These devices have been pulled from production and are available from AX Control Inc. 

This unit is the GP43J-EGE1-220 model of touch screen interface, designed as a 10-inch unit. The display setup includes an integrated, high-intensity, electroluminescent display. This model is one of the few in the Legacy Display lineup that provides an amber-colored monochromatic interface. The GP43J-EGE1-220 is one of the models that lack an advanced, compact fluorescent backlight system. The image resolution of this setup is 640 by 400 pixels, rather than 640 x 480 of the other models.

The other hardware components that this unit is outfitted with include a serial asynchronous transmission interface, with a pair of RS232C/RS422 ports. This unit is equipped with an internal memory for operational applications that totals up to 1 megabyte. Also included is the 32-kilobyte backup memory, formatted as static random-access memory. There is an integrated lithium battery, which the backup memory is designed to utilize.
