About the GP511-TC11
The GP511-TC11 is an HMI or human-machine interface. It is one of several graphic panels for sale here at AX Control originally from ProFace s GP70/50/30/10 series. This was the first series of graphic panels to allow user-configurable options.
Pro-face's GP511-TC11 uses a 100 VAC input at 50/60 Hz 80VA. Internally, the unit runs on an EPROM memory chip with backup memory. The rear panel has several interfaces, including a video interface and two serial interfaces. It also has an on/off switch and a terminal strip with three screw mounts for lines in and for field grounding. The unit should be properly grounded to protect both the machine and any technicians maintaining the unit. Power should be removed from the unit before beginning any kind of maintenance.
The GP511-TC11, like all GP units, is designed to offer up error messages when problem conditions occur. This may include messages like clock setup error, screen transfer error, system error, or unsupported tag in screen data. Your user manual will help explain messages and how to clear them. Most error messages are displayed on base screens. Errors may become invisible if windows are opened on the base screen.
