About the GPB50-RC11
The GPB50-RC11 unit from Proface (sometimes written as GP-B50-RC11) is a built-in HMI unit from the GP70/50/30/10 series of graphic panel interface units. This was one of the first series of graphical interfaces that allowed for user configuration. It was specially designed by the company for the rigors of the industrial floor where an off-the-shelf computer might not withstand everyday use.
The GPB50-RC11 has external dimensions of 290 mm by 230 (+/-1) mm by 101 mm. The unit is air-cooled and has multiple vents both on its top and on its sides. Please read installation instructions thoroughly to maintain proper ventilation requirements. The unit includes several serial interfaces on its rear panel and also has a terminal strip for I/O wiring. Additionally, this unit supports T-link connections to a Fuji PLC. Pro-face has a full manual devoted to helping users set up this kind of connection.
If your GPB50-RC11 has issues with the screen display after the power cord is connected, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot. First, make sure the power cord is connected correctly and the connection cable is also connected properly. Additionally, check to make sure the display panel has been adjusted correctly. Improper voltages may cause the screen to have issues. Refer to the GP-*50 user manual chapter on wiring and installation to troubleshoot if you think this may be the issue.
