The AGP3600-T1-AF-D81K is a Control class GP3000 unit.  This kind of HMI is designed to give the user both HMI and PLC operations in one unit.  If desired, PLC controllers can be eliminated altogether as part of machine design.  This can significantly reduce system costs for your factory floor. 

The AGP3600-T1-AF-D81K does not include contrast control, but it does have brightness control.  This is available through the analog touch panel.  Eight levels of brightness are possible.  The touch panel that fronts this unit has a lifetime touch rating of 1 million or more.  The backlight design for this unit changed between hardware revisions; earlier revisions of the unit may not be user-replaceable.  However, CCFL backlights that are on some units can be replaced by the user. 

This GP3000 HMI offers multiple connectivity options, including Serial, USB, and Ethernet ports.  The unit also has expandable memory and expansion units, along with a CF card slot, sound output, and auxiliary input and output.
