About the GLC100-FN41
The GLC100-FN41 is a Flex Network I/F Unit for the Pro-face systems. The FN41 attaches to the rear of the GLC100 or the GLC300 series unit and allows data to be transferred over a Flex Network.
The Flex Network uses high-speed data transferring technology. The I/F unit powers up along with the main unit it is attached to. The I/F Unit has a rated voltage of DC 5V +/- 5% (this is supplied by the GLC). The I/F units power consumption is 1.25W or less. The voltage endurance of the I/F unit between external charging and FG terminals is AC 1500V 10mA for 1 minute. The I/F units insulation resistance between external charging and FG terminals is DC 500V at 10M Ω or higher.
The GLC100-FN41 is passively cooled, using the surrounding temperature to cool it. The I/F unit’s operating temperature cannot be higher than the GLC unit and be at a range between 0°C to 50. The storage temperature can be between -20°C to +60°C. The air purity (dust) for the I/F unit to operate needs to be 0.1mg/m3 or less. The I/F unit needs to be in an area that is free of corrosive gasses. The I/F unit has a noise immunity of 1000Vp-p with a pulse duration of 1 µs and a rise time of 1ns. The I/F has an electrostatic discharge immunity of 6kV (EC61000-4-2, RH-1/ESD-3).
