About the PFXLM4B01DDK

The PFXLM4B01DDK is a Sink Output Type LT4000M DIO model Rear Module. This unit is part of the LT4000M series from Pro-face by Schneider Electric. It is rated at 24V DC input voltage and at 9W or less power consumption. This rear module uses GP-Pro EX software (version 3.12 or newer) and supports the IEC61131-3 programming languages IL: Instruction List and LD: Ladder Diagram. It also supports several language fonts including Cyrillic and ASCII.

There are four types of communication interfaces available on the PFXLM4B01DDK: serial link interface (COM1), ethernet interface, CANopen interface, and USB interface.

This particular module is a DIO-only model, which includes 20 Points for Standard Input (2 Points for fast input) and 10 Points for Standard Output (2 Points for fast output). Configurable input functions for fast inputs are Pulse Catch Input and High-speed Counter Input. For fast outputs, configurable output functions are PWM Output, Pulse Output, and High-speed Counter (Synchronize Output). 

These fast output functions are stopped and an error message is generated if one of the following conditions are met:

  • There is a short-circuit at 0 V on Fast Output

  • There is a short-circuit at 24 V on Fast Output

  • The current crossing of the Fast Output is too high. 

There are many environmental factors to be considered before installing a PFXLM4B01DDK, such as ambient operating temperature, which differs based on the orientation of the installed device. This module is cooled by natural air circulation and has an ambient operating temperature rating of 0 - 50 °C (32 - 122 °F) for horizontal installation and 0 - 40 °C (32 - 104 °F) for vertical installation.
