About the PL7930-T41
The PL7930-T41 is an industrial display/computer designed by Pro-face for use within factory settings. It has been built with rugged capabilities to stand up to more challenging industrial settings.
The PL7930-T41 is a 15-inch TFT color unit with four expansion slots. It features a bright LCD display with a wide viewing angle, up to 64,000 colors, and excellent visibility that can be viewed from up to 100 degrees vertical or 120 degrees horizontal. The unit has four brightness levels that are controlled by software. The unit is CE marked, UL/c-UL approved. The touch panel uses analog-resistance-film.
The PL7930-T41 is designed for panel mounting. The unit typically uses a gasket to absorb vibration and repel water. The unit has twelve insertion points for fasteners to secure it to the panel. Wiring to the PL7930-T41 should be supplied with the input/output lines separated from the operation unit lines. Noise resistance can be improved by twisting each power wire before attachment to the ring terminal and by minimizing the length of the power cord.
The PL7930-T41 is built with four COM ports, three USB ports, and multiple other interface ports. COM ports use RS-232C serial cables to connect to a D-sub 9-pin plug connector.
