The PFXPP171CA46K04N00 is one of several PS4000 Series industrial computers available here at AX Control.  These units were originally manufactured and sold by Pro-face Xycom.  This PS-4700 industrial PC has been specifically designed to hold up to the rigors and harshness of your factory floor.  And because it comes from Pro-face, it will easily integrate with the Pro-Face HMIs that are already part of your system. 

The PFXPP171CA46K04N00  is fronted by a 15-inch XGA display.   This unit offers a dual core central processing unit made by Intel (Core2 Duo P8400) and a pre-loaded Windows 7 64-bit operating system.   The system  has 4 GB of RAM available for readable and available short term memory.  The unit is also already built out with a hard drive storage device and an available COM expansion board that will allow users to have access to a 9-pin RS-232C/422/485 connector.  

The PS4000 series is designed specifically to offer reliable service even where 24/7 operation is required.   Units are built to draw the minimum amount of energy needed in order to save money on operating costs while providing increased parts lifetime through heat management.  This is done through integrated heatsinks and multiple fan units located at the bottom of the unit.  Fan units can easily be replaced by the user when/if they show significant wear.   Additionally, the cartridge-type hard drive is also designed to be easily replaced by the user.
