The PFXPP17ACA40N04N00 Industrial PC is part of Pro-face Xycom’s PS4000 series of Industrial personal computers.  These PCs are designed to hold up to the more rigorous demands of industrial locations, including more noise and vibration.   We have several different versions of these PCs available within our inventory, so please reach out to us or take a deeper look at our online inventory if this particular model doesn’t meet your needs. 

The PFXPP17ACA40N04N00 offers users a 15-inch display surrounded by an aluminum bezel.  This unit has a Core2 Duo central processing unit.  As the name suggests, this is a dual-core CPU.   It has two standard PCI slots and is built with 4 GB of RAM.   This particular system does not have an operating system installed, nor does it have a storage device available like a hard drive or solid-state drive.   However, the unit does include a COM expansion board that has a 9-pin RS-232C/422/485 connector available.   This connector is located at the top of the board along with other standard connectors. 

Standard connectors on this board include the AC terminal block connector, COM ports, Ethernet ports, the DVI-I connector, as well as USB ports, Mic, and Line in/Line out ports.
