About the 0-57410-
The 0-57410- model is an analog output module that was designed and produced by Reliance Electric. This product was also manufactured using the product number 57c410. This module has been discontinued by Reliance Electric, but AX Control typically has this product in stock. Call or email us now to check the availability.
In most cases, the operator will use the 0-57410- module to output either current or voltage signals to process controllers, drives, and other compatible devices. The 0-57410- analog output module has a total of four channels that are 12 bit D/A converter type. All four of these channels can provide a +/-5 volt, a +/-8 volt, a +/-10 volt, or a 4-20 mA current output. Each of these four channels have its own isolated common and have output signals which have 2500 volts of isolation to the logic common.
When installing the 0-57410- module, be sure to follow all applicable codes and exercise care to reduce any electrical noise interference that can occur. Prior to installation, be sure to turn off all power and mount a terminal strip to a panel, fastening the wires to the terminal strip so it is secure.
Short circuiting rarely occurs with the 0-57410- analog output module, since it has protection thanks to its channels being current limited. There are, however, a couple of errors that can occur with the 0-57410- module. The first of these is the Incorrect Data error. With this error, the output can be always on, always off, or operating differently than typically expected. This can be caused by multiple factors, such as a programming error, a malfunctioning module, a modul being connected to the incorrect slot, or the output being wired to the wrong device or not being wired at all. The second error is the Bus Error, which is indicated by either the number “31” or any number between “51” and “58” appearing on the processor’s LED display. The error can occur when there is a missing module, a malfunctioning module, or a module being connected to the wrong slot.
