The 0-57421- unit is a Pulsetach Input Module that was designed and produced by Reliance Electric. If you are in need of the 0-57421- Pulsetach Input Module, then give AX Control a call. We make an attempt to keep this product in stock despite it no longer being produced by the OEM.

The 0-57421- Pulsetach Input Module was made to be used to gather pulses using a photo-electric pulsetach. This pulsetach may either be single or dual channel with either 5 or 12 VDC inputs. The 0-57421- Pulsetach Input Module has within it a 16 bit internal timer, a 24 bit comparator, and a 24 bit counter. The digital inputs that are provided to be used in conjunction with the latch input, origin input, and count stop input have 5 to 12 VDC of electric potential. 

In many cases, the 0-57421- Pulsetach Input Module will be used to interrupt a variety of conditions, including the following: an external latch input, a marker pulse and origin input, a comparator equal condition, a periodic time interval, and an external count stop input.

When installing the 0-57421- module, be sure to follow the proper procedures. First, make sure that you remove all power to the system, including the writing leading to the module and the attached rack. Then, you will be able to insert the module into the desired slot within the rack. Be sure to use an applicable screwdriver to secure the 0-57421- to this slot. Lastly, you will want to mount a terminal strip near the module in such a way that the screw terminals are easily accessible to the operator.
