The 0-57431- processor module is based on the Motorola 68010 16 bit microprocessor and uses the high level application languages BASIC, Ladder Logic, and Control Block. The 0-57431- processor module has a CPU speed of 8 mHz and a memory of 512K Parity RAM. The other two processor modules that are related to the 0-57431- processor module differ slightly in these respects. In order to increase the processing capability and total memory for application tasks, an AutoMax rack can hold a maximum of four AutoMax processor modules at a single time. The 0-57431- processor module makes 300K available for use with application programs. The type of operating system that is loaded onto the processor module does not matter for this process. In addition to that, the 0-57431- processor module can maintain the contents of the RAM for 42 days at minimum.
Installing the 0-57431- processor module is a simple process. First, turn the system’s power off. Then, you will need to activate the on board battery. The on board battery can be found within an opening on the right side of this module’s enclosure. After activating the on board battery, you may insert the 0-57431- processor module into any sot that you desire. After this is done, secure a cable to the port that is labeled “PROGRAMMER/PORT B” on the processor that is all the way to the right. You will need to use a screwdriver for this step. After doing this, you can turn the system on and allow the automatic diagnostic process to be executed.
