The 0-57493- power supply module was designed to convert 115 VAC input power to the necessary DC voltages to properly operate the other modules that are placed within the rack. This rack has the means of mounting a maximum of six AutoMax modules in addition to the 0-57493- power supply module. On the module’s faceplate, you will see two LED status indicator lights, a keyswitch, a fuse, a terminal block connector, and a connector for a battery backup.
Included with the 0-57493- power supply module, you will receive one 376 Watt power supply and two keys that are designed to be used with the keyswitch. This power supply module is encased in a steel protective enclosure that comes with an internal heat sink unit. For proper operation, be sure to plug the 0-57493- power supply module into the position that is most to the left of the 10 or 16 slot rack. Please note that this device cannot be used in conjunction with the 6 slot rack.
The installation of the 0-57493- power supply module is streamlined for the user’s convenience. First, mount your 10 or 16 slot rack onto a cabinet that is sturdy enough to hold it. The manual recommends that it is made of heavy gauge steel. Next, mount the power supply module to this rack and next to that, mount the terminal strip end of the terminal strip assembly on the lashing bars. After that, fasten the wires to the terminal strips. You may then wire the rack, secure the nameplate bracket to the base of the rack, and turn the power on to the system.
