The 45C321 power supply is a single circuit board that can be plugged into the AutoMate programmable logic controller. This power supply is enclosed in a protective housing that is made out of plated steel with a heat sink that is made out of black anodized aluminum. This 45C321 power supply unit has the necessary voltages to power the logic circuitry that are contained within the cards that can be inserted directly into the card rack. These voltages are provided so that the module logic circuitry can be powered in any directly connected rail. On the card faceplate, there is a terminal strip that allows for the input power to be easily wired. 

The 45C321 power supply has the ratings of 20 Amps, 120/240 Volts, and 50/60 Hertz. In addition to that, the 45C321 power supply has a total of two card slots. The power supply has overvoltage and overcurrent protection. The 45C321 power supply’s faceplate has a total of three LED status indicators: “AC POWER ON,” “POWER SUPPLY READY,” and “SYSTEM READY.” Below that, there is a keyswitch that has a total of three positions: “RUN,” “PROGRAM,” and “SETUP.” Below the keyswitch, there is a terminal strip with ready relay contacts, a 120/240 selection jumper, and 120/240 VAC input power.
